Every participant will receive free comprehensive performance analysis from both an absolute and relative perspective:
Individual test performances are scored against absolute performance standards and each competitor receives both a raw score and descriptive feedback. The FitScore standards are intentionally high, and the upper end of the threshold represents a maximum possible performance. Perfect scores are exceptionally rare and and the scale is continually updated based on actual results. The Paleo f(x) FitScore has separate Male and Female standards for each test.
Based on the individual test results, an overall score is calculated. Some scores are based on a weighted performance across fitness categories, while others may be a raw "decathlon-style" points system. You will receive a detailed performance report which includes individual and overall ratings on an absolute basis. We use an absolute scale because it allows you to compare against others and even yourself over time. However, you can also see how you rank by age, gender, weight or other factors based on your personal profile. You can also filter the scoreboard by the same demographics.
Every FitScore individual test measures one or more of the following standard fitness assessment categories:
- Muscular Strength
- Muscular Endurance
- Cardiovascular Endurance
Based on the performance across all tests, an overall category percentile rating is provided for each athlete, separate of the individual tests and overall score. This information helps identify your strengths and weaknesses from another perspective. A perfect score in any category would represent maximum performance in all the tests that measure that category.
